Premium Engineered Fire Starters

The same engineering. The same craftsmanship. A simpler way to keep the fire going.

Experience the performance and convenience of BurnBloc with our 12-Pack Refill, designed for customers who appreciate thoughtfully engineered fire starters without the need for the premium wooden presentation box.

Each refill pack contains twelve genuine BurnBloc engineered fire starters, proudly manufactured in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada.

Whether you're replenishing your Premium BurnBloc Box Set or discovering BurnBloc for the first time, the Refill 12-Pack delivers the same carefully designed fire starters in a practical, economical package.

The Engineering Behind Every BurnBloc

BurnBloc isn't simply a wooden block coated in wax.

Every fire starter features an intricate internal lattice constructed from precision laser-cut Baltic birch.

The patterned framework and carefully positioned ventilation openings are designed to encourage airflow through the wooden structure, helping support the combustion process as the fire develops.

This purposeful engineering makes BurnBloc a distinctive alternative to conventional fire-starting products.

Five Integrated Ignition Wicks

Each BurnBloc incorporates five ignition wicks.

One continuous central wick serves as the primary ignition point, while four additional wicks form part of the internal fire-starting system.

Together with the engineered wooden structure and natural beeswax fuel, this arrangement is designed to help establish and sustain a flame.

Light the central wick using a standard lighter. No additional lighter fluid is necessary.

Natural Beeswax. Precision-Cut Baltic Birch.

BurnBloc combines carefully selected materials with precision manufacturing.

Natural beeswax acts as the combustible fuel, while the Baltic birch construction provides the distinctive internal framework.

Each component is precision-cut and assembled with attention to fit, detail, and consistency.

The result is a Canadian-made fire starter that reflects both thoughtful engineering and hands-on craftsmanship.

Designed for Sustained Burning

BurnBloc has been tested to provide a flame lasting 15 minutes or longer under suitable conditions.

This sustained burn gives surrounding kindling and properly seasoned firewood time to establish a fire.

Actual burn duration and ignition performance depend on airflow, fuel arrangement, environmental conditions, and the condition of the firewood.

A Practical Way to Replenish Your Supply

The Refill 12-Pack is ideal for customers who already own a BurnBloc Premium Wooden Box Set and want to restock their supply.

It's also an excellent introduction for customers who want to experience BurnBloc's engineered design without purchasing the premium presentation box.

Every refill contains the same BurnBloc fire starters found in our Premium 12-Pack.

There is no difference in the fire starter itself, only in the packaging and presentation.
